Officers are selected from the ranks of the 20-member Student Senate to fill leadership positions and to carry out the policies the senate develops.

- I am the principal representative of ASUCR
- I have sole authority to sign legally-binding contracts on behalf of the associated students, subject to a two-thirds senate approval
- I chair cabinet meetings and hold ex-officio status on all committees.

What I do:
- I'm the presiding officer of senate meetings and must be well versed in parliamentary procedure using Robert's Rules of Order.
- I draft senate meeting agendas,
- I call special meetings when necessary
- I plan and execute senate retreats
- I record all meeting minutes

- Insure that all members of the ASUCR governing body work proficiently and serve their constituents.

What I do:
- I coordinate all efforts affecting the internal functioning of the Riverside campus
- I report campus administration’s actions to the Student Senate to ensure all student concerns are addressed
- I chair the twice-monthly Campus Internal Affairs Committee meetings
- I oversee the internal affairs office staff
- I sit on the ASUCR executive cabinet
My Goals:
- Decrease the apathy and indifference prevalent amongst UCR students.
- Work hard to increase the profile of ASUCR through the use of media and unconventional publicity.
- Give students a voice and reflect their views in how UCR is run as a campus
- Focus on bridging the gap between the students and administration in order to build a more cohesive, prosperous, and vibrant campus.

- I'm the primary contact for ASUCR-funded organizations

- I secure polling locations and computers
- I develop and plans daily activities during elections and prepares the elections timeline and agenda
- I advertise elections and related events
- I appoint committee members and assigns volunteer activities
- I update elections bylaws, applications, instructions, etc., as necessary
